MINISTER OF EDUCATION EULOGIZES SENATOR BUHARI , PROFESSOR GBADEGESIN
…Calls on Nigerians to emulate their selfless efforts
The Honourable Minister for Education, Dr Maruf Tunji Alausa has lauded the selfless efforts of Distinguished Senator Buhari AbdulFatai, PhD and Professor Gbadegesin on the facilitation of Federal University of Agriculture and Technology, Okeho in Oyo State to their senatorial district.
He made this remarks today in Abuja while speaking during the official inauguration of Governing Council and Principal Officers of the newly established University.
Dr Alausa stated that some distinguished and patriotic Nigerians who prioritize their community development must be commended for such feat in order to serve as an example for others.
“Let me appreciate some distinguished Nigerians such as Professor Gbadegesin who is in Maryland and has been an ally of Mr President for more than 50yrs and also Senator Buhari AbdulFatai who worked tirelessly to see that this University come through. These are set of Nigeria who value community development more than their personal entitlements”. He stated
Those who were inaugurated included Former Senator Yakub Oseni from Kogi State as the Pro Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Professor Jacob Babayemi as Vice-Chancellor, Mr Amuni Muhammed Olayinka as Registrar Alhaji (Prince) Kazeem Popoola as Bursar and Dr Adigun Ojo AbdulGaniyu as Liberian.
