The touching story of Mr Oladepo Caleb Olugbenga, the 2026 overall Best Graduate of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, (LAUTECH) , Ogbomoso, with outstanding CGPA 4.89/5.0 reveals how NELFUND, the Students Loan Scheme by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu helped him to achieve such outstanding feat in his academic pursuit.
This goes to tell the world of the importance of NELFUND Scheme to the Nigerian Youths.
As the Chairman, House Committee on Youths in Parliament and a strong agitator for Youths Independence for national development, Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala, the lawmaker representing Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South and Oriire Federal Constituency in the Nigerian House of Representatives
has always been on the forefront of putting up programmes that will enable the Nigerian youths to achieve their life dreams.
And one of these numerous programmes by this tireless youth advocate is the Award of Full Scholarship for the Best Performing Student in the 2025 Joint Matriculation Board Examination (JAMB) in Ogbomoso, aside financial supports and other education aids to many students of his constituency.
Mr and Mrs Adeleke will live to always appreciate Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala for taking the Full responsibility of Full Scholarship for their son, Adeleke Joshua Adedamola, a student of Smith International College, Ogbomoso, Oyo State, who emerged the Overall Best JAMB Student in 2025 in Ogbomoso.
Many brilliant youths have dropped out of school because of their inability to cope with the finances attached to tertiary education in the country, thus leading to increase in social vices by these promising youths, after all an idle hand is the devil’s workshop.
Aside his active and progressive alignment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, award of Full Scholarship to this category of students will remove financial burden( tuition fees, accommodation , books and sometimes stipends) and allow the student to focus on academics for excellence.
Hon Olamijuwonlo Alao Akala will not relent in rolling out more human friendly programmes that will ease the suffering of the people and also ensure that their dreams become a reality.
